Context:
Handshake is a career matching service that is used by hundreds of top universities throughout the United States. I proposed a redesign of the website and mobile application for the Kliener Perkins (KPCB) design fellowship in 2018. KPCB is a venture capital firm in San Francisco.
Challenge:
Redesign one of the products in the Kliener Perkins portfolio and justify changes. I decided to redesign the Handshake website so that it can be more effectively used by students.
Approach:
A new card-based, modular layout that was more mobile responsive and modern. My design sought to bring clarity to users, as well as fix small visual errors based on user feedback.
